Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) is asking his fellow Kentuckians to avoid traveling to Tennessee, claiming the Volunteer State has not taken the appropriate measures to stop the spread of COVID-19.


I think the problem so far is middle Tennessee, hopefully it want be all over the state.

I am in Eastern Oregon darn near to Idaho. The few times I have gone to town or on to the freeway I see people with Washington plates headed east. Their license plate frame is from a dealer in the Seattle/King county area. Their back seat is packed with suit cases. They have Fluffy the dog with them. They are leaving an area of high infection headed toward an area with low to no infection. How many are taking the virus with them?

People are panicking and fleeing the cities. Ironically, they'd probably be safer at home, where the hospitals are better equipped to help them. Hospitals in the boonies are going to be overwhelmed, and federal/state aid is going to be focused where it can do the most good, which is in cities.

Gas is cheap, traffic is light and got plenty of paid time off from work plus a big government bonus check coming. How could there be a better time to travel then now?

Close to 20 cases in East TN in Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City. 3 cases along I-81 in VA near Bristol. Too close to me.

My wife has been a teacher in private schools. Not me, I didn't like being in school so as soon as I gragiated that was it for me.

I thought I remembered something about one of you teaching. I know Beshears is beholding to the teachers union for getting him elected so I figured that be part of why you support him.

The schools that she taught at didn't have unions but she does stand in solidarity with teachers in general.
