Trailer advice

I don't like hauling the cows or calves in an open trailer . Meaning without gates . It puts a lot of weight against the calves at each end .. I've seen cows hurt by the weight of the others leaning on them.. I have a 24 6' 8" gooseneck ..with 2 gates I can haul 11 cows or 22 calves give or take .. It's hard to get 4 cows all facing the right direction to shut the gate in the last section .. Or I could haul 12

Yep, one always has her feet pointed towards that back gate ready to launch it into your face!
