So, she wont start, I need to tow it. NO steering if engine not running. Had to shove the front wheels with the FEL to make a turn or even go straight as the camber makes them turn hard left or right. Gotta be a better way I hope. Any way to lock the streering box? Nothing to chain the tie rids to either. MF 1100 diesel. Gawd I hate that tractor……

Pick up the front end with the loader tractor and drive backwards to where you need to go.
Pick up the front end and back a flat bed trailer under it. Chain it down and go.
Got a weight bracket on the front? Back up to the front with another tractor. Chain a 3pt drawbar to the weight bracket and lift the front end with the 3pt of the other tractor.
I've done all of these at one time or another.

Multipower transmission?

Hydraulic clutches won't recieve any lube when dead towing.

Only tow a short distance (ie directly onto trailer) or risk wrecking parts inside the transmission from lack of lubrication...

If you can find somebody with a HD roll back and load as close as possible to take for repair if that is what you mean.

Not starting is bad, but that tractor is 50 years old. Not starting on that tractor boils down to starter, battery, wiring, lack of compression, or fuel system all of which are pretty simple to figure, or a lot easier compared to new. On new it can take three days of Dianostic testing with dealer only available equipment and $8-10K later back running.
