Topical pain relief available in Australia

Hi all,

I think I know the answer....

But is there any pain or numbing agents available to us that could be used for things like ear tag application to older more sensitive or nervous animals ?

Something natural perhaps....

Banamine has a topical product now. Meant to use it last week on baby's when we castered and paste dehorned but forgot to bring it along

I've never used it but have heard good reports on Tri-solfen. A vet from the LLS used it on her own stud cows with burnt udders, Lisa told me it was amazing gave instant relief and lasted a few days as well. I suspect it would work well on the ear tagging.

Looks good Ken, very expensive for a one or two off....over 200 per litre.... I litre looks smallest...

May have to ask my vet if they have some.

Any non approved ones in small tubes that may be for our use, but will assist them ? I never used any sort myself.

Xylocaine jelly has always been available for us but I've never been impressed with it.
