Hey all I live in central Mississippi and i fertilized about 100lbs per acre 0f 0-26-26 on Thursday. Well since then we have gotten about 5 inches of rain. My ground is fairly flat but my question is did I waste my money because of too much rain or is that not a problem??

We bottom land people depend on you upper land people to fertilize before a big rain.... :D

Nitrate is water soluble and would have been gone. Phosphorus and Potassium wouldn't attach itself to the water and wash away. It would have to be picked up by run off, as in erosion, to wash away. So you probably didn't lose too much.
