Cut a field that is heavy in JG grass around mid Sept. It has come back strong and is around 3-4 tall. It hasn't frosted yet here. Is it too late in the year to get another cut? Wasn't sure if there would be concern if I cut it this late for screwing up next year's stand.

Lay it down. It should be fine. We typically get our last johnsongrass cutting mid October and the stand comes back fine the next year.

3-4 tall. I assume that's feet, and not inches? In any case, I don't think you can hurt it by cutting it late.
