I just trim as much meat off the rids the throw them in the bone pile , might like to try them.
I killed a buck last week that was so fat I probably trimmed 5 lbs. of fat off and threw away, don't know if I ever saw a deer so fat but we have a bumper crop of acorns and the persimmon trees are so full that some of their branches are breaking plus I have winter pea patches, wheat , and all the corn they want they should be fat.
