That part about stuffing live animals into containers to be imported really soured the whole thing for me, and proves to me that she doesn't really research what she spouts off about... It sounds good, it suits a lot of people, but she fell hook, line and sinker for the HSUS PETA crap..
Seriously? Japan a significant exporter to the US? I doubt it.. Perhaps there's a little specialty Wagyu beef imported, but I bet IT'S NOT CHEAP, and dollars to donuts says they import more!
Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay are far more significant sources.
I do think COOL is good, I believe customers should be able to make the decision about what they eat, but this rant was weak
