Tire prices

Anybody else shocked at the price of tires these days? My nephew got some quotes on Goodyear and Firestones for the 4250 today and they were over $1400 a piece. The Chinese tires were a little over $800 a piece but we really don't want them. I guess that beggars can't be choosers.
I know the dollar is way down but dang.

the last new cheap 18.4.34 was $500 or $600.an thats been a few years ago.

Completely agree high... chep I spent 9k on my old combines tires last fall so yea they are out of control on prices.
