"tips" for horns

I am looking for "tips" to put on my dexter cattle horns. I've seen brass caps on oxen. I am also thinking there may be a rubber or silicone product that could be dipped on. Does anyone have any ideas on what to use, where to get it, and how to apply them! Thanks!! Rose

The attached link has horn knobs. I've seen tennis balls with a circle cut out of one side to fit over the horn then filled with RTV (silicone adhesive like calk) and pushed down over the ends.

You can also use crutch or cane tips with RTV
