I was cutting strings off a bale and heard a blast go off. Dang bull took off running and bucking. That was a first for me, dang light duty Kubota glass can't even handle a bull rubbing on it.

We had that happen on a 73 chevy when I was kid, bent the hell out of the door and fender. Never forgot the experience

If this one would fit I would see how bad they wanted to sell with a best offer. I busted one last year on the M9000, an Ash tree limb swarped it as it fell, it went a different direction than I though even after wedges inserted, etc. I never though it would even get close and if I would have just had the door closed. The glass goes into a million pieces. Putting that rubber seal on (Able to reuse old seal) and the door handle in is not much fun on the new glass either.

We used to have a guy here who wrote a column in the va cattlemans newspaper.

he was a grass and cattle management guy....big on stockpiling and managed grazing.

His position was that everyone who insisted on feeding cattle baled hay in the winter time should have to do it on an open tractor with no cab....they would soon look for a better way...

I tend to agree....we fed with open tractors for thirty years and I was always looking for a better way....Up side is never had a bull or anything else break any doors or glass.

the guy who rented the neighboring place after my partner died sold his cows a little over a year ago because he said he was not going to go thru another winter feeding cows in the rain snow and mud...but he did not have time to change his management...

new neighbor is in the hay business and wraps everything that can not be made into good horse hay....he has a lot of hay and feeds cows to use the hay....and he likes the cows but he has equipment and hauls hay daily to feed the cows and grazes the whole place...he does manage the grazing better

I have an open station JD so I've never broken a window on my tractor buuuuut , my wife backed Into my tractor hay forks, and broke out the big azz back window in her Saturn Vue.

Was buying a freezer beef calf once. Farmer had his truck right where he put the cubes to get them where I could pick one out. Sure-nuf, they got to pushing and shoving and a cow backed right into his driver's side door on his fairly new PU. Lesson for me.
