Bonsmara have more performance testing done than any other breed, as a Sanga composite, their mothering abilities are amongst the top performers, they are worth looking into, even if you AI a few cows and compare the F1 heifers to your other crosses. I have seen some great Simmentaler x Bonsmara in South Africa, an impressive cross! Here is some breed information for your interest;
