I wait untill after clover has gone to seed. I don't mind a few winter weeds to save the clover.

If you have clover and want to keep it, then use something else beside Grazon P+D. The P (picloram) is what gives it a residual affect and will even get clover seedling into the fall.

For those that have clover, wait until the seed willshatter from the head and use something like 2,4-D or 2,4-D + Dicamba (Weedmaster).
