That's pretty darn good! We had 19 calves in 21 days and te cows were all bull bred by a first timer bull. He had all the cows bred in te first 4 weeks of being out again so it should be a busy spring :)

Btw those are some darn good looking calves

Look great. I LOVE the white markings!!! Hope you have another nice 6 calves!!!
We only had 6 bred for fall. 3 have calved. 1 due yesterday. 1 due next Saturday and our show heifer is due mid October (after our last show).

Our first day of fall calving we had 3 ! 6 more since for 9 total - 7 heifers and 2 Bulls . 12 more to go out of our young herd bull. He is a Plattemere Weigh Up son and really like his calves so far. Good luck during calving season to all !

Using all my past birth weight data, my farm average is 87 pounds.

The first 9 calves born this fall, averaged 86.4 pounds. Right on track!!!!!

BR - I just realized you do not have your "location" listed. You should list that!

I did. Not far from some big names. Rocking P who know you well. Congratulations to them. Morgan got the ASA Herdsman of the Year Award! They knocked the cover off the ball this year. What a great family!

Also, only few miles from Boyd Cattle Company.

Ron, have any pictures of the Live Ammo calf?

I will post better pictures as these calves get older. Here are 2 pictures of the Live Ammo heifer and some calves that I ran into getting these pictures for you:

Several years ago I had 17 in one day. 92 out of 93 called in 33 days. In Feb in northern Missouri. I barely remember it. Never seemed to sleep that winter. Gs

This is our Live Ammo this fall. He was born a few days ago. 86 pounds, out of a 9 year old cow that usually throws 100 pound calves. We had two in the Spring, one is pretty good (red bull) the other is OK.

I'll try to get a pic of the red bull, he is a dark red with a full white face.
