Not really just had a few beers and wanted to say hello. What is your best wrong cross bred you can come up with? Linebred Wagyu? Lol.

Always thought a highland/Hereford would make a bad herd bull.

Ya, but what about the females! Know a wheeler dealer who cornered the market on extremely cheap Highland cows. Then bought a couple horned Hereford herd bulls and tried to market the F1 heifers as the ultimate easy keeping replacements.

Don't think he is still in business, but Aaron could backfill for him. ;-)

Friendly lil guy, but the grass was taller than him. He only bred 3 heifers. If that wasnt bad enough, then he decided to jump off a dayum cliff. Guess the big cows were more than he could bear. He was no daisy

Red Poll x Belgian Blue

Seen nice calves from Red Poll x Belgian blue crosses few years ago.

Man i would love to see what they looked like. Seems a really odd mating. Problem with red polls is they vary in genetics from looking like jerseys all the way to something on steroids.

That might not be a terrible bull if you put it back to Jersey, or Jersey x Angus cow...might put some beef on the rump :)

The only long-haired breed worth a speck of coon-shyt is Welsh Black, and you have to go for the serious performance breeders. The rest have abysmal growth rates. There was a fella on here once from SK that had F1 HHxWB and they were dandies. Problem was the extra hair on the steers. But they made for hardy cows.

There's some decent Galloway cattle as well.
