I have a thin stand of red clover that I would like to put something with to make more bales by late summer. What would you all suggest, crabgrass, pearl millet or what? I will notill whatever I use in with a 15" planter or I can broadcast.

I put out both.

Soybeans, or peas, they will grow with the clover, without chocking out any more of your clover like a summer grass can. Will also dry at the same rate as clover. JMO
