Had a cow drop a calf in a mud hole early yesterday morning, took till 11 am to get it settled in the barn with mama to warm up. Built fence the rest of the day. Another cow who had been pacing all day started calving around 11pm and the calf had a leg folded back. Vet didn't answer the phone  (darn caller ID :p ) My wife finally got a strap on the leg and straightened it. Luckily I already had the cow in the barn because of the forecast. Got to bed at 1am. Slept late this morning and got up at 620. :)
