Due date was today, 110 on the ground with 50 in the last two days. Supposed to be warm next week. Bring it on! Has barely made above freezing in last ten days and a horrible wind. Make for extra work for sure. A few photos, will try to take more in next days.

that many calves in that short of time is a lot of work even if you have no problems. good luck with the rest of the calving season. nice looking herd also.

Gcreekrnch, excellent! Would you post the the percentage born in the first 21 days of the calving season, based on bull turn in, when you reach that point?

Impressive, I sure don't envy the weather you have to contend with. We just have a mere fraction of that number and it's a challenge to calve them out in the months with that weather. Here's hoping the weather does get better for the rest calving out. That ewe and lambs brings back memories, used to have some that looked about the same. Spent several long cold winter nights when they were lambing.

Wow you have quite the operation. Sounds like I only run about 1/3 of your stock and I'm very impressed with how well it seems that you're able to keep all the wheels turning. I'd love to hear more about the history and inner workings of your place if you ever have time to write it up.

One day in my spare time!😀
