I just heard about them today. They turn your tank heaters on, and off according to the outside temperatures. I manually turn mine on and off. I'm pretty forgetful to. They run sometimes they shouldn't, and don't run some times they should. Anynody used them, or something like them.

Used one with a heat lamp before, seems to be ok.

I have sold 1000's of the tc-3 for heat lamps and tank heaters. I haven't ever gotten one back defective

We use them, and love them. We have one hooked up to a heat lamp where our well pump is, so if it gets cold enough, it will turn on the light and keep the pump warm. Along with one for the waters that have heaters in them.
