The cows got their Christmas breakfast. The bale was a little frozen on one side making it a little tough to flake off.. Now it is my turn for breakfast. Blueberry hotcakes cooking right now. They are ready..... bye

Got the water going for the cows, such a nice day when I got back I walked out to the bred heifers behind the house. They seem to be enjoying the break in the weather.

Dave is that the Blue's, what direction are you facing?

I am facing northeast. That is Little Lookout Mountain. I am not sure if that would be considered part of the Blue Mountains or not. If you went that direction and continued to look that way from the top of the hill you would be looking at the Wallowa Mountains and the Eagle Cap wilderness. Just to the right out of the picture is Lookout Mountain. From the top of it looking east you are looking down on the Snake River. The up stream end of Hell's Canyon. I am on the far eastern edge of the Blue's.
