50 years ago the Oscars were a big deal.
Tonight I didn't even know they were on until channel surfing and barely recognize any names or nominations.
Boy how times change, but it's probably been like that for better than a decade for me.

Yeah well, 50 years ago, I and most here at CT were a big deal too. About that time period, a good looking woman, only 1/2 way hiding her wedding ring walked up to me out of the blue in a K-Mart and said "I've been tamed some, but can get wild again if you're interested". Them days are long gone. (I politely declined her offer)

40 years ago I rode a mechanical bull at a bar. A good looking young lady stepped up asked point blank, "can you ____ as good as you can ride that thing?" I replied that I was just playing on that machine.

The first time it happened I could FEEL my face turn red. I'm not easily embarrassed, but some women are VERY upfront about certain things!!

Had I said what she said, I'd a been thrown in a cop car and hauled away!
