AAA# 20871516. Arguably the most powerful heifer in the AAA according to DNA. Any suggestions on direction or recommendations on AI sires to bred her too ?

I wouldn't breed her to anything without knowing what her weaknesses are... and you can't see weaknesses by looking at a pedigree...

Regardless of her DNA, I think you would be best matching her up by her phenotype, where does she need improving? Some photos might help us better to make suggestions.
If she doesn't need improving it might be best to just leave her and don't breed her just admire her. If it aint broke don't try to fix it.

That's one of the problems with black Angus... pictures just look like black blobs with no real definition. And if you edit better pics to get rid of so much surrounding background it would be easier to see her too. But yeah, I can see she's deep and heavy.

Milestone is producing some better than we expected hfrs.
Architect is another one that seems to be pretty consistent at producing daughters.

Maybe use a spotted Corriente bull and see just how powerful that DNA is.

I dunno. On paper she is a monster -- huge MW and MH. No milk. Huge negative $EN. Terrible PAP for my part of the world. Had she been born a bull she would have made a great terminal sire on pud cows. I think I would just feed her out and fill the freezer. I do not see the value of her as a cow, but I live in a 14 inch precip zone and don't have a feed truck. I guess maybe you could use any of the big numbered bulls and try to make what she should have been, which is a terminal type bull.

That's my thoughts , I think she would have made me more money as a bull. I turned down some good money in hopes of making a bull.

I wonder what people think - Is "most powerful heifer" a good think or a bad thing? Depending on her actual performance/phenotype, a heifer like that in my little herd (if she were retained) would probably get bred to a low bw smaller frame maternal type bull. One known for producing good daughters that milk. My thought is to stay away from extremes. Else you may fall off the cliff or in the ditch.

Seriously, you already have her. So why not pick a good AAA bull that has the potential/possibility of improving her weaknesses.
See how she does.
You can always eat her later, or find a good spotted Corriente Bull, their out there.

So I looked her up. That's disappointing. Poor milk and HP.
I like her CED and BW but most people wouldn't.
I think if I could have got a big check for her I would have taken it.

As I looked at her data/pedigree the areas that I thought the heifer could pair with were reflected in Comstock -- nice selection in my opinion -- or others similar to Comstock.
Rich -- that heifer is a very interesting animal in terms of paper/data. I find the word "terminal" tossed around as if it's some sort of bad thing -- but more than 90% of my calves each year are terminal so genetics like you have in this heifer are very appealing to me (growth and carcass -- and frame size all match my operation and my marketing). What's your goal for this mating?

Her combo of genetics are antagonistic and chart toppong, .49 RADG is #1 in the breed , her WW , YW , DMI, 1. Scrotal , 1+ marbling , 1+ ribeye, not to mention her foot scores , -.89 fat etc . She is the most unique animal on paper in the database. I would like to breed her to a similar type of bull and multiply the genetics. Bull Suggestions?

I don't know enough about current angus sires to give a great recommendation on a bull (I've moved to using only high accuracy sires). She's an interesting outlier that I'd think someone would be interesting in owning -- but I don't know who that would be (GAR, Linz, Byergo, Grimmius are names that come to mind in terms of breeders that emphasize her outlier characteristics). Maybe talk to the OKC or Denver cattle shows about putting her in one of those elite sales. Good luck -- it's a good problem to have
