First time in a while I've felt old. Read that article three times. Didn't understand any of it. Never heard of her either. Oh well, could be worse. I still understand about 1/3 of the nightly news. When I no longer understand anything, I will throw my tv away, disconect the internet, and become a hermit.

This Thanksgiving it will be 7 years without TV for our family. Who needs TV when you have the internet, and 2 kids still living at home.

I was listening to a Hollywood reporter on the radio the other day, and he said Lady Gaga hates PETA and is wearing the meat outfits just to ruffle their feathers.

Don't know if that's true or not, but if it is, she can't be all bad.

Well, I guess I need to tell my husband I was wrong and that he and I are both right. He told me "she" was a "he". What little I know of "her" (from news etc) I thought "she" was a "she". Apparently "she" is both!

:clap: I'm on year six. I spend an hour or so here every day and feel like I'm entertained but my brain is still in gear and my wife writes some about our life and posts it in a few places. The kids get to EARN either cash or time to watch one episode of an aproved show on netflix... They like to learn so it's an easy steer to something from nat geo or discovery channel.
I feel that it's so much healthier to seek out things you're interested in and let that guide you in an engaged and thoughtful pursuit rather than sit around wondering about the gender of people that you see on tv.
