My calf has had a clear mucous discharge from her vulva since Sunday. She is holding her tail away from it (similar to what she does before she poops. She is my first calf, 6 months old, and what I've read the heat only lasts for hours, but the discharge has been there almost 2 days. There are no other signs of illness. If you think it is heat, I want to keep records. About how often do they come back into heat again? She isn't acting goofy like I've read they might. She isn't trying to mount me and the only other critter in the yard is a pygmy goat. No low mooing or other visible signs that I see. Thanks
