I'm guessing about six and a half to seven feet. See them fight like this all the time but never got it on the game camera.

I noticed a bunch of Oak tree leaves under some trees. We haven't had any high winds lately and I don't haven't had any cows in the pasture for 2 weeks.
Guess they doing the same thing as in the photo and picking the acorns before they have a chance to fall.

When you are walking and hear a noise behind you, turn around to see a buck on his hind legs ticked off with ears back, they look a whole lot bigger than they really are. Especially when you have no gun on your person. They also growl like a dog.
I lived to tell this tale too.
Someone raised that buck on a bottle and then turned him loose in the wild. He had no fear of humans. When the rut hit, he went nuts.
There is a reason the law says you cannot raise a deer on a bottle. Doing so can kill folks or even kids waiting on school busses.
