Your right that cloning doesn't improve anything; but I was talking about "preserving" not improving.

The best that cloning can do to preserve it's original, is to make an inferior duplicate copy that in the past has shown not to express all the traits of the original. Traits like longevity, disease resistance exc. As for Texas Longhorns, it is the individuality that defines it. By coping it you destroy that individuality that you wish to preserve.
