Responsible adults should be allowed to have guns in schools. Lots of training, phyche (sp) exams, background checks and restrictions of course and voluntary only. Maybe rotate who has one and where they keep it on an unannounced schedule. Keep the gun toter off balance and everyone else guessing--just to be safe.

Same here. We even had a sporting club where we brought guns into the classroom. Unloaded of course.

Yeah--that'll work..depending on how one defines "responsible' and 'training':
In the confusion that followed, numerous law enforcement officers rushed to the scene and a US marshal accidentally shot a Homeland Security agent, Brewster County Sheriff Ronny Dodson said.

Some schools in Texas already have concealed carry for teachers. It's up to the school district.

You would be a good politician. It's simple, if a teacher wants to carry a gun, let em.

Way it ought to be.

Greybeard: Let me think--one officer accidentally shot or a few kids slaughtered!! Wow, you ask the hard questions.
