Stupid question of the day:
I bought a bottle of tetanus toxoid yesterday for some bull calves that need castrated. Afterward I ran a couple errands, and then forgot it in the truck where it was fairly warm. It set there for about 5 hours. Would it still be good, or do I need to get another bottle?
Thanks

Probably OK - but do you want to chance it?
It was pretty dang hot in my vehicle every time I got into it yesterday, even if I was only out of it for 10-15 minutes.
Granted, it's a denatured protein product, and not a living entity, but I'd bet the manufacturer wouldn't stand behind it if you had a 'failure', and it came to light that you'd not handled it according to label directions.

Thanks. That was my thought as well, but just wasn't sure. If $20 is going to break me, I need to get rid of the cattle. :D
