I tried to make cheese using processed goats milk I wasn't really very impressed with it though I did like the feta that I made. At the time I didn't realise goats milk was so hard to come by I tried healthfood & organic shops in 3 different towns with no sucess.

there are not that many people producing it, and the industry seems to be content staying a cottage/hobby farmer industry. There are a lot of commercial opportunities that the industry could take advantage of, but they do not seem to want to advance as an industry.

Its a little tricky to market goat milk because you basically have to create a market for yourself.

One rather large market for market is children. Talk to the baby-doctors in your area about it. Many of the newborns do not tolerate the milk formula that is being sold, and goat milk works great for them.

Our oldest son was on goats milk (23 years ago) and it solved many of the problems we had with him as an infant.
