I approve of what they are doing. Sometimes you just have to stand up and say I don't approve with what the government is doing.

This Texas leaving the U.S. thing is going like wildfire. Everyone is talking about it today and it is uniting practically everyone. Somebody better start paying attention.

There was a particular leader I wasn't all that supportive of until last p.m. He kicked tail.

This is the silent majority speaking up that our current administration does not understand , they only hang out with the left wings who wants us to be socialist. DON'T LET THIS BE THE LAST THE MOVEMENT MUST KEEP GOING.

Ryder there are a whole bunch of us that are Cajun heritage. My family name is on the Acadian Memorial. Steve Austin used a bunch of Cajuns when he colonized this state. We're real short on crawfish in these parts (there aint none) other than that, you'd probably like it alright.

It was impressive that so many Americans showed up at the Tea Parties, but thats all they were. We can not fight our own Government. I can see it now, party to loud and the cops with tear gas and the National Guard shows up and rolls everyone up. I think it is way to late to do very much. There is no way out. JMO

I was impressed by how many Americans actually got off their behinds and did something - together. But by the time the next election rolls around, I'm afraid the movement will run out of steam and it will be back to politics as usual. Anybody remember the "midnight pay raise" that Congress gave itself some years ago? There was outrage at the time, but a few months later, almost all of them got re-elected....

There is a way out, but if you speak of it, you'll either be killed or go to jail for a long time. The way out today is much like the way out a couple hundred years ago.

Other than that, we've just got to get the theives out of office, have term limits, and end political "careers".

Room in Texas for our bunch and some black angus?

Been seeing some coments from the other side and the administration they say the tea party was right wing extremist funded by the rich and other bad coments. They do not get it, it is a movement that has to get stronger and not be forgotten or we have lost

Texas gov should disavow secession talk

Answering a question from The Associated Press at an anti-tax rally Wednesday, Perry said he doesn't think Texas should secede. But he said the federal government was thumbing its nose at the American people and added, "who knows what might come out of that."

The vet tells me it is not so much the heat of the day time that is detrimental for angus but rather the high over night lows that get them in trouble. The few I have calve in the fall and do okay nursing through the winter. It is just not as efficient from all perspectives but if also gives you another avenue to combat unknowns such as drought.

There are some die hards around here that think they do fine in this climate.

No state tax hear but if they really do this thing, they are going to have to invoke something. Way less than what you'd pay in federal now.

We'd probably lose what we've paid in SSI but that's probably not going to be around in a dozen years anyway.

When you think things out, it all seems more positive than negative.

If our tax bracket gets published, there's probably going to be an influx of rich folks into the state. Maybe even the likes of Bill Gates and such.

I am thinking we should start anew with all the lessons learned. A flat tax would be well received.

Thanks. Never know how it wil all turn out.

But so as not to sail under false colors, I am not Cajun. I am 100 per cent Red Neck.
As you know those Cajuns are Saturday night hopping, fiddle playing, beer drinking, boure gambling mudbug eating, Catholic, party animals out in the swamps.

Us Red Necks are piney woods, whiskey drinking, poker playing, steak and tater eating, gospel singing, revival going, back sliding Baptist.

As to my other qualifications, I will add that I am appreciably better than most with a pistol but not that good with a long gun. For roping I am noticeably better than the average but not as good as the best.

I might add that I excel at supervising workers, provided they are good workers and already know what to do.

I attended the tea party in Austin. I have to admit I don't see it going anywhere. Still to many people with their own agenda. For some reason Ric Perry was allowed to speak at this tea party. He is a big government republican. Exactly the thing I think we need to get away from. I think he wormed his way in with the resent talk about states rights.

Imagine that! Despite our differences in geography, we have similar skills.
