Well, here I go again! On the bags of steer feed there small tags that tells the analysis of the grain concentrate. crude protein..min.. 9.00%, crude fat......min.. 2.50%, crude fiber....min.. 10.00%, calcium........min.. 0.60%, calcium........max.. 0.95%, phosphorus.....min.. 0.50%, salt...........min.. 0.50%, salt...........max.. 1.00%, potassium......min.. 0.70%, vitamin A......min.. 3,000 IU/LB, with vitamin D3 and E supplement. Now, how does one figure the TDN of the feed? Thanks.

I would suggest you get somthing called Cow Bites. Im not sure were your from but we have it up here in Alberta and it seems to help out a lot. You can see if your feed has the right amounts of Minerals and Vitamins and all the things that you cattle are going to need and the exact amount. Rember That the Calcuim Phos Ratio sould be 2 Calcium:1 Phos. I think would really help with making sure you feed has the right around of mineral content also you can find out the Total Digestable Nutrents
