TDHA Wild Hog Hunting Contest (results)

For any of you who hunt wild hogs with dogs or know some one who does, the Texas Dog Hunters Association puts on a contest in Halletsville, TX every year. This year it starts on Feb 27 and goes thru March 1. Its a great even, all the meat is donated to the hungry of Texas. Last year over 20,000 lbs of meat was donated.

This year we will have over $3000 in cash and prizes for the 1st place team including custom buckles.

Results

-we had around 75 teams enter

-#28,000+ of meat donated to feed the hungry of Texas

-teams hunted for over 150 different land owners, over 200 different properties, and hundreds of thousands of acres

-Counties that were hunted:
Lavaca, Dewitt, Washington, Waller, Milam, Wharton, Jackson, Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, Gonzales, Burleson, Milam, Victoria, Lee, Attascosa, Medina, Guadalupe, Robertson, Liberty, Refugio, Fort Bend, Austin, Colorado, Karnes, McMullen, Live Oak, Dimmit, Haze, Mason, Irion, Reagan, Bee, Nuecess, Aransas, Goliad, Calhoun, Chambers, Bee
