has anyone had any dealings with the tarentaise breed good or bad.

My brother has tarentaise cattle. I had a tarentaise bull in my pasture for awhile this summer. I've found that the cows are very good mothers with lots of milk. Those genetics for color seem to come through pretty strong on the crossbreds. The only other thing I would say is that they are kinda like the Limousin where there seem to be more than their fair share of animals that are a little high strung. Just my experience.
