What kind of syringe do you use when vaccinating your cattle.

i use prima tech bottle mounted syringes when vaccinating they work really good i use regular syringes when giving gnrh or pg for A I and the closer to the ml that your using it seems to save product if im giving 5cc pg i use 5cc syringe on the 2cc gnrh i use a 3cc syringe and the bottle mounted are adjustable.

Never aluminium anymore. I only use detectable stainless needles. They are stronger and stay sharp longer. I use 16 gauge for everything over weaning. 18 gauge for medicine that isn't thick with calves. I use 1" needles for IM and SQ. The longer and thinner the needle, the easier is is to bend or break.

I 2nd the PermaTech - absolutely great.
I use disposable syringes for individual shots (breeding/treatment). Use the size needed for the product as recommended above.
