Greetings! I have a pair of 12 month old jersey steers, and one is just fine, filling out nice. The other has developed swelling in his right front and right rear knee joints. He is walking, slowly, and beginning to limp some. He has also lost weight, but has been wormed. His appetite is good, and eats the same as the other steer. Our vet recommended DMSO on the joints, but no improvement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had a calf last year with swollen back leg joints.I tried la200 micotil nuflor dmso and two or three other antibiotics and had no sucess at all.I sold him and it was not noticed and got a good price.GOOD LUCK!
