Sweet Tea

A woman goes to the doctor, beaten black and Blue.

Doctor: "What happened?"

Woman: "Doctor, I don't know what to do.

Every time my husband comes home drunk he beats me to a pulp."

Doctor: "I have a real good medicine for that. When your husband comes home drunk, just take a glass of sweet tea and start swishing it in your mouth. Just swish and swish but don't swallow until he goes to bed and is asleep."

Two weeks later the woman comes back to the doctor looking fresh and reborn.

Woman: "Doctor, that was a brilliant idea! Every time my husband came home drunk, I swished with sweet tea. I swished and swished, and he didn't touch me!"

Doctor: "You see how much keeping your mouth shut helps?"

I posted this one a few months before Christmas and I was asked to wipe it off, after a lot of boo hiss, I can see why I was asked to remove it as there are a few women on here, who are not saying but have to put up with this sort of thing and live in fear of their lives, each and everyday. so you can see why I agreed to wipe it off. I recieved a very sad pm from someone, and it made me cry reading the letter, knowing what some poor women/and children have to go through.

Sorry if anyone was offended...very short sighted on my part. I got a good laugh out of it but it definitely doesn't go on in our home and any lady that is abused I would encourage to get out of the situation if at all possible. Thanks for the polite reminder Chrisy.
