When am I going to learn....
Had a date with the bride yesterday and went to the sale...looking for a steer or two, not in a hurry, this time of the year it's mostly order buyers anyway as the pickings are slim compared with spring and fall.
Seems like every time we go together and she doesn't find another wife to spend the afternoon with, we end up with a trailer load of cows that we did not intend to buy.
'Ya guessed it...three heifers and one steer...couldn't hold out any longer and had to go to the can...another heifer on the bill.
God knows that I love that woman...and her Herf heifers.
And that's my two bits worth for this morning.

You're not fooling anyone, David, we know you're bragging. ;-) :D

I wish my wife showed even an interest in the farm. We live about twenty minutes away and on the rare occasion when I can talk her into driving up with me to see the place she won't get out of the truck. A couple of weeks ago I finally got her to get out and at least walk over to the gate to see a pasture I had been working on. She found two ticks on her when she got back so now I'm back to square one.
