I bought a group of 15-17 month old heifers ready for a bull on 4/2/22. Went out to check on them after a thunderstorm on 5/13/22 and found this.
I named her BOGO.

I would think that would be a good thing. better than finding a heifer with feet in the air and half of a calf hanging out. income sooner than expected.

The heifers I talked to you about have started calving to my bull. Been going ok Except a few I bought bred about two months later. Had a hard pull on one of those Sunday. I saved them both but couldn't get em hooked up, (cow was down about 12 hours) took a bottle calf and open heifer to lampasas this morning.
Is that devil's claw you got going in the background. Lol
Looks like she's being a good little mama and the calf is adorable. Congrats!

That's one of the best possible surprises I would say. Congrats on a lovely pair!
Would be wise to look at other herdmates too, if there are any others preparing to calve.
