Knew an older fella in s.c. that occasionlly would have one show up in his lake. Always had coon hounds running loose. he would call game warden and report someone had shot his pet gator!!

I get the juveniles in my pond about once every other year--this one from a couple years ago, but saw another swimming around a couple of weeks ago.

Found this one in the road ditch outside my cow pasture a month or so ago.



He was a long way from any significant amount of water. Like a mIle and a half from a creek.
