summer grazing planting options

My question is this, we have 20 acres of drylot ground that we took out of wheat production last year to provide more room for the cows during the winter. What can I plant in this area so that we can bale it during the summer and have some forage for them when they come off of pasture. I have the ability to cross fence it as small as needed, and I am looking to get another month of grazing off of it and maybe 1 cutting. Is there anything that would fit in my area here in kansas

sudan/haygrazer would be good to plant for hay an grazing.you could also plant millet.an graze it or bale it.
