strange eye on bull

I have a yearling bull I will be turning out in two days, and I just noticed last week one had a watery eye. (There is a pen of 7 bulls total) Then the eye got a small spot (less than a pencil eraser), now it is UGLY! It is a growth type thing, a little bigger than the pencil eraser, and it appears to have hairs or something sticking out from it. It looks like a small eye growing from his eye. Any ideas or treatment? Also he is not my bull, he is a lease bull. All from the same breeder. Supposedly had pink eye shot too. I have called the owner 3 times and left messages regarding what to do with the one eye guy with no replies.

What does your lease contract say?

I would send him an offical notice of the condition. Your deposit...if one...may be in jeopardy. Most leases require immediate notification of an abnormal condition or injury. Rightfully so..immanent treatment may be indicated.

It is kind of a strange deal with the owner. I leased from him last year, I picked up and brought back my 8 bullls, and he didn't even have an address for me. This year Dad made him write down my address. Dad is the $$$$ man for the 35 year old who has recently lost his drivers license, and can't truck now so is living in a camper in front of ma and pa's house. No actual lease agreement. He just wrote down the tattoo #'s. I will treat for pink eye tommorrow, and hope for the best. Bull is supposed to be "Natural Beef" so I hate to screw that up for him, but....
