Strange combination

I was at a sawmill picking up some locust posts and there was a tractor trailer getting a load of sawdust. Out of curiosity I ask the driver what they did with the sawdust. He told me they mixed it with chicken poo and used it for cattle feed. I'm not sure if he was pulling my leg or if it was truth. Any comments. :shock:

You never no.Mostly it is used to make pressed board, like partical board for sub floors in houses.

Depending on the purity of the chicken S (if you can think of it as pure), mixing sawdust with it would be about the same as feeding broiler litter.

In Tn. they use sawdust to cure out dark fired tabacco in the barns.
