Skip tooth chains just have fewer teeth and clean out faster when you have the whole bar stuck in some big wood. They let the saw run at higher rpm also. This makes a saw cut faster in big wood. The draw back is the saw is more prone to kickback when cutting smaller stuff. The standard chain that comes on the saw will work fine for most cutting. You picked out a good all around saw.
 
I personally can't stand the 362. It has very poor balance. For 60cc class I would look at the Husky 562xp with autotune. I'm a huge Stihl fan, but really do not care for the 362. I have two 261's and like them, just don't care for the balance of the 362 or the filter.
 
If you do go with the 362 make sure you buy the oil to get the upgraded 2 year warranty.
