first let me say goodmorning to everyone. I rasied my first 2 steers last year one is a black angus and one is a herford cross. my question is what do you all look for to know when there ready to butcher ?? thanks

Short answer; fat deposits around the tailhead, cod fat(where the scrotum was) ,and fat in the brisket.
