Old style? What do you mean,I remember most of that stuff! :lol: A steer stuffer is a self feeder for cattle. If you google Smidley Steer Stuffer you should see a factory made one, or look toward the top of the list on the link from above and you will see a home built one.Hippie Rancher":12w5x7pw said:

I have never heard the term, but it makes sense.
I remember a few of those too. Have never seen an actual wood squeeze, know they were out there, have seen and used wood headgates.
Although, come to think of it my poor old squeeze is framed with lots of steel (rust) but the sides ARE wood!
