Even in my good eating days of puberty, I don't think my friends and I could have knocked this one out. That's a lot of meat.

Yep, the sides are the part that gets you. I've seen the video of the girl that ate 3 of the 72oz steak meals in Amarillo. Dunno where she put it all.

Seems like it would kill a person. What I don't like about the Amarillo challenge is they make an announcement to the entire restaurant when somebody tries it, so everybody in the restaurant is watching them while they eat. Not too cool. One good thing though is they put a gigantic green jalapeño on every plate. And hot too, not like the ones you get at the grocery store that are milder than a bell pepper. That's a good restaurant, the steaks are very good. Ive been there twice and will go again if I've ever back through Amarillo. No challenge for me though, I'll just get something like a 16 oz ribeye.
