Spring development for watering system

I am looking for information on how to develop a ground water spring for a livestock watering system - to minimize pollution and winter freezing. Any information or "pointers" from experience would be helpful. Thanks.

It is not hard to do!! make sure your pipeline is big enough to handle the flow. Your Local ASCA of FSA will or Extension Agent will have a plan for spring development.
