the fun way. Cut off the pampass grass and burned it to make way for the new growth. If we can get the right conditions, the pasture is next.

That was a good idea to cut and pile the pampass grass before you burned it. Somebody told me one time to burn it standing- works great, they said. I did and years later you could still see fire damage on it.
