Wasn't near as good a sale as all the BA guys were preaching it to be. All the calves in it had to be age verified, and Angus tagged, and they were, no problems there. But, the prices were not any better for that sale, than for any other sale in the area.
The week before we got as good or better prices for our 600 lb steers as anyone did in this sale. And ours were mixed colors, reds, blacks white faces, hereford and tans. Kinda nice to be at the top of the market for once, and we didn't have to spend the money on those special green tags ;-). Our calves were age verified as well.
