I've got a cow whose got some sores. Some on her sides and teets. They are about the size of a quarter, it looks like she has rubbed the hide off. This is the second time they have appeared in the last year. They eventually went away after we gave her a shot

are they scablike? every now and then we'll have a cow rub an insect bite raw. i dont get too concerned about it, just try to keep the bugs at bay. some cows seem to be more sensitive to them than others...
